‘AN ARTIST’S NATURE JOURNAL’ IN COUNTRY LIVING November 30 2017
I’ve always loved the book ‘The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady’ by Edith Holden. Following a family move from London to the beautiful East Sussex countryside, I was inspired to create my own modern-day, month-by-month, illustrated nature journal.
My nature journal is an ongoing personal project that is very close to my heart. It is a celebration of my combined love of drawing, painting and learning about the natural world.
'It is my aim to create a modern-day record of the flora and fauna of the British countryside through the changing seasons of the year - as seen through the eyes of an artist’.
I’m delighted to share that my nature journal is being published as twelve monthly columns in Country Living magazine throughout 2018. If you’d like to take a look, the January issue is out now. For further information visit:

To coincide with the publication of each monthly column during 2018, I’ll be sharing behind-the-scenes snapshots of artwork-in-progress, plus sightings of seasonal plants and wildlife. So if you’re interested in art and nature you might like to follow me on:
